the office of student life functions to create a vibrant campus culture and educational activities for all students. students have a wealth of varied involvement opportunities allowing them to make the most of their college experiences by embracing mbu’s rich student life. functionally, the office encompasses Campus-wide Student Programs, Student Club & Organizations, the Office of residence life, and the Office of Commuter Life providing educational programming and activities targeted to meet unique developmental needs.
college life is more than lectures and midterms, it’s a place to enjoy yourself. mbu encourages every student to get involved in campus life and making the most of your year on campus. the office of student life serves students through planning and developing exciting campus activities, receptions and events to encourage student involvement. it serves as a resource to clubs and organizations by calendaring and coordinating their activities. the academic year at mbu is enlivened by a variety of social functions, including homecoming, welcome weekend, the perk: the event, first thursday’s in theperk and various trips and monthly events.
